Register your business without your home address
Working from home? Then your home address is public in the Business Register as your establishment address. A business address in Amsterdam prevents that.
Why your home address is visible
If your business is based at home, that address is your establishment address. It is public and ends up on websites, invoices and in search results.
How to separate work and private life
Choose a business address, have your address changed at the Chamber of Commerce and use the new address on your website and invoices from then on. Your private address stays out of sight.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have my home address shielded at the Chamber of Commerce?+
Home addresses of people in the Business Register are shielded in principle. But if your business is based at your home, that address is public as your establishment address. A business address solves that.
Do I need to change my existing registration?+
Yes, you report the new establishment address to the Chamber of Commerce. We give you the signed agreement you may need for that.
Can I keep working from home?+
Yes. Where you physically work is up to you; the business address is where your business is registered and receives its mail.
